No plans to covert our apps for the next 3 years at least (I'm retiring in 2014).
The Docuware app uses Mysql, and they said the VM was okay. They have a major upgrade available now, so we are discussing how to handle that while doing the new server. Are you going to convert over to a RDBMS in the next few years replacing .dbf? If so consider one virtual being just your database and that db needs two spindles on your raid for killer performance. What is the db for your DocMgmt system? Do they give you a clearance to run it in a virtual, and if so what do they expect in resources? -- Stephen Russell Unified Health Services 60 Germantown Court Suite 220 Cordova, TN 38018 Telephone: 888.510.2667 901.246-0159 cell [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
