I don't know of any way to send SNPP to a cell phone, wish I did it
would make life a lot easier.  SNPP is telnet text based so I figure
it will fall into the same category as SMTP.

I could be wrong but as long as you aren't able to associate a patient
with his/her medical diagnosis you may be ok.  Just sending appt date
and time should be ok as long as you don't send a nature/condition
along with it.  My app dispatches ambulances and we never send nature
with the call info.  Check for sure.
