The Brother all-in-one DCP line doesn't seem to support PC fax, or stand alone fax. The brother DCP line does have much better resolution and speed than the HP 1415, though. I think the drum in my current HP Laserjet 5P needs to be replaced. Each page I print with it creates a dark horizontal line that grows with each page printed. The dark streak now covers about 1/3 of each page and is growning. I'm also considering buying a refurbished HP Laserjet 5P, which would cost me about $98.00, or $90.00 with trade in. I recently brought a new toner cartridge for the HP Laserjet 5P at Office Depot. The cartridge cost me around $105.00 on sale, and is still new in the box. I hate thinking about wasting it. What do you think about going with a refurbished HP Laserjet 5P printers? Its really slow at 6 ppm. LOL I'm thinking its time to go with something more current.
