The computerisation of the office has not led to the paperless
environment merely to the demand of managers for more information to run
there businesses. It should be remembered that this information was not
required previously to run their businesses and that, in order to
identify those bits of paper that do run the business they now all
invest in Balanced Scorecards. They do of course still require all
those other reports as that makes them look like they no what the
drivers of there business are.
