Requirements not mine per se - for a customer with the database for our VFP9 application on a Samba share. Normally as a company we mandate Windows servers, this site is one of two that use Linux as the file server. He's been getting random 'file access denied'-style errors. The other site was always a Novell shop, transitioning into the SUSE world when that happened. They don't seem to have issues. I suspect the problem chap is on a 1.x version of Samba. He's doing some light domain-type stuff with it too. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
