Yes, I tried a 15" display and actually preferred the 13" as the apple displays
are just so high quality/resolution and the smaller size/weight is great when
flying or travelling. However, I would never dream of getting a 15" standard
laptop never mind a 13" one. In fact my Dell laptop is 17" and is nowhere near
the quality or usability of the Macbook.

I have a Henge dock and when docked it sits nice and neatly like a piece of
furniture with all my peripherals connected including a 27" monitor (Not apple,
but excellent quality). I have been thinking about an iMac .... I just can't
convince her in doors.... YET!

I've always bought laptops with 15" screens or larger. For my future laptop, I
think I'd go compact (13" or 14" screen?) and just use a docking station and
have large monitors attached to that. That way, the battery life also lasts
longer since it'd be less draw on the battery due to lesser screen. Most times
I work out of the docking station anyway.
