I've always bought laptops with 15" screens or larger. For my future laptop, I think I'd go compact (13" or 14" screen?) and just use a docking station and have large monitors attached to that. That way, the battery life also lasts longer since it'd be less draw on the battery due to lesser screen. Most times I work out of the docking station anyway.
