completion of order.) But we're talking personal preference
here...the distance from the computer to the box staging area is about 12 feet.
Personal preference is very powerful thing.
Are the scanners accurate? Because I have been unable to find
additional work in IT after my hours were cut, I have been working
part-time doing inventory counting. I use a scanner a lot. 1)
Misscans can happen. (What is read is not valid. A retry usually
works.) 2) Sometimes, the scan gives trouble. I find that the light
level can make a big difference. After trying, say, a half dozen
times, I just enter the number in by hand. Maybe, the users are doing this.
