As I posted back in September, this happened to me on my laptop and cost me an extra data charge.

I still haven't installed it on the laptop, but I have installed Windows 10 on a dual-boot Win7/Mint desktop I have in Goa: Apart from two mega-hurricanes and an Aurora Borealis visible as far south as Paris, there don't seem to have been any major consequences.

The dual-boot was preserved OK; I lost XP Mode - I might see if I can install an XP VM in the now useless Windows Virtual XP. VFP 9 worked after a reboot (although the re-boot lost the HomeGroup settings - the laptop was part of it - a sort of hybrid HomeGroup/Workgroup including a couple of XP machines in the UK, which was always a bit flakey). All in all Win10 seems cleaner and quicker, almost as pleasant to use as WinXP! - the GUI changes are mostly intuitive, my reaction is definitely positive. Why couldn't they have done it for Win8? I'll give it a couple of weeks and if I'm still happy I'll update the laptop.
