I know. And no corporate IT department running the Pro editions of 7 and 8 and who are big enough to need to centrally control the release of Windows updates will allow it to happen before they're ready. Also, reading the post by the person at Microsoft responsible for this: "Before the upgrade changes the OS of your device, you will be clearly prompted to choose whether or not to continue. " ... regardless of automatic updates or not. So, they're trying very hard to push Joe Soap down this route but I guarantee you in a couple of years time almost every corporate PC I see will still be Windows 8 SP1. -- Alan Bourke alanpbourke (at) fastmail (dot) fm _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/1446408443.2954882.426049777.46e99...@webmail.messagingengine.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
