An SCX is a DBF (table). As is a VCX/FRX/LBX/MNX. So is a DBC but that's getting a bit meta...
The other vague memory I have of something like this is a corrupted SCX. If you have backups or source control perhaps an earlier version of the SCX can be restored. -- rk From: ProfoxTech <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Kurt Wendt Sent: Friday, March 21, 2025 8:26 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Backlink Issue w/Form&Proj NOT re:DBC Yeah - I spent HOURS today with the IT guy on my team who does networking & IT support - he's NOT one of the Developers - but, he HAS a Dev background. And, we were struggling to try SO Many things. Even trying some installs/updates from the VFP CD ROM they have. Still to no avail... In my original posting - Backlink claims to be tied to a Screen and Not a DBF - which is SO WEIRD! I agree - maybe it's Misleading - and truth is NOT what it points to! And, yeah - computers - always so much fun! Even what Richard Q. suggested - I showed that Specifically to my IT guy - as that is His Territory. He was like - Nope - that's not it. Gotta say - starting a new job - and at the end of the 1st full week - stumbling upon such a STRANGE Issue - it's not only Perplexing - Butt Hella Frustrating! I will say - and this is VERY Interesting and IRONIC! In searching the ProFox Archives - I found the 1st person who complained of a Backlink issue! Ironically - it's my manager at this job - who posted the job - Wayne. Although, in His case (back in like 2000) - it was indeed tied to Data and DBF files...
