In 1990 I was handed a diskette with FoxPro 2.0 on it.  At that time I was
doing RPG and COBOL for a living.  Everyone was touting Dbase and Paradox at
the time.  While they were screwing around with those products, I was
shipping complete applications that were much more polished - and as Ted
says above - winning customer loyalty and making a little money.

Among my customers are three major corporations in the Fortune 100.  Because
I produce a good product that does the job as well as provide exceptional
support, I have won customer loyalty and the language I choose to use has
never come up in conversation in 15 years.
