Steve called to have the insurance company pick up his walker and wheelchair. He's walking around quite well at this point. The leg with the new hip is still weak, but certainly better than before the surgery.
Yesterday Steve took a friend to the courthouse for his final hearing after a DUI. The new hip set off the metal detectors so there was some fun with that. :-) We started getting the bills for the operation. I guess it comes to about $40K. Good thing we have good insurance...
