Did you actually look at NASA's findings? http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/graphs/ This is the very report we're talking about. Yes, there was a peak in 1934 but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to spot a trend in the graphs. BTW, the raw data is here: http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/graphs/Fig.D.txt If you open it in Excel and sort on the 5-year_Mean column the top ten are: 1 2000 0.52 0.79 2 1999 0.93 0.69 3 2004 0.44 0.66 4 2001 0.76 0.65 5 1932 0.00 0.63 6 1933 0.68 0.61 7 2003 0.50 0.58 8 2002 0.53 0.55 9 1998 1.23 0.51 10 1988 0.32 0.51 Obviously there's no data for 2005/6. I'd say there's a worrying trend there. -- Paul _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
