The trick is to work in your personal stuff to your technical posts. Include things in your foxpro discussions that tell people a little about yourself. Example: """ Hi, I can't seem to get my head around how to iterate an array in the most elegant fashion. I'm eagerly awaiting any suggestions, while crunching my granola listening to NPR and sweating off my bikeride to the grocery store. """ I think it is better to treat this as a technical list for the most part, but when people start discussing the more personal things, and it starts getting political or otherwise off topic, then it needs to 'go [OT]'. In my humble opinion, of course. Anarchy is basically a good idea. -- pkm ~ http://paulmcnett.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
