Actually, I would probably be commended by my boss for doing this 
research, and doing so on company time isn't a big deal since this 
review is a company requirement. He's all about hard data, so the more 
stuff I can bring him from different sources, the better.

I've considered the other items and ideas you described and those are in 
fact what I was going to base my discussion on.

I was looking for sources that I could then say "don't believe me - look 
here" sort of thing.
