Or could it be the underpowered and sometimes unavailable data network? I know with my Treo 700 I can get cell coverage almost anywhere in the USA and Canada, but the data connectivity is only available in major population centers. I can only use the Internet where I can make a broadband connection. Is it possible the iPhone is so dependent on the data connection for its functionality that they are not offering it in places it has weak or no connections?
