Twice now within the past 3-4 days, I've woken up to find my laptop "offline" and then when I boot it back up, it gives me the "Windows has recovered from a serious error" message, and then goes (after I confirm to report error to M$) on to a web page to site that says:
Problem caused by Device Driver You received this message because a device driver installed on your computer caused the Windows operating system to stop unexpectedly. This type of error is referred to as a "stop error." A stop error requires you to restart your computer. This makes me wonder yet again: what's the best way to transfer this entire disk image to a new PC so that I can pick up right where I left off, instead of having to reinstall everything and start from scratch once again? I thought the answer was Norton Ghost, but conversations here in the past (iirc) have made me question that idea. tia! --Michael _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
