>> I think that YAG has been very committed to the other portions of his M$

what 1% maybe 5% of his client base? Does he have to really give a lot of
time? Do you remember
that his former company before leaving was pro VB as well as sure we can still
do VFP? <<

YAG is the manager of the Fox Team, his personal percentage of time is
meaningless in the
discussion. What his old company did before he was in charge of the Fox Team is
also irrelevant.
Besides, it is a proven fact that the small team was very efficient and able to
deliver huge
features without a lot of resources and internal support. Maybe the other parts
of his job required
more of his time. Metrics of results is a much better way to evaluate than he
linear measurement of
time.

>>Open Source and M$ ?

What are you talking about anyway? MicroSquish is not putting any of their
code up for your mods,
only for debugging. To me that is not Open Source.
CodePlex is a place for you to shove your stuff for others much like *
sourceforge*.net.<<

Do some homework Stephen. Yes, CodePlex is a repository developed by Microsoft
(and open source).
While your reference may be true for the .NET framework source code they are
releasing, Microsoft is
doing other work in the open source community. And I am not just talking about
the Sedna stuff they
just released. Here are a couple of pointers to get you started:
