Well, no, it's not all that concerning to me. I've never... and I mean NEVER.... gotten any good support from MS. I pretty much have learned to not depend on them for anything. I don't bother calling, I don't bother trying to write them to fix bugs (I gave up after a bunch of attempts when I was using VB a looooong time ago). I don't mean to cast a disparaging remark against you or the VFP team inside MS. You guys created a truly astounding piece of work. Nothing really comes close to it IMO. And I can only imagine how infuriated you are that due to "corporate", such a fine piece of work is going to go by the wayside. Anyway, I'm not sure how many others are out there like me, but, simply put, I'll put out my VFP 9 systems with no additional worries than what I have now with my 6,7,8 ones. In the meantime, if I continue in this industry, I'll seek a new platform altogether. Good thing is, I believe many of my clients are getting of the same mind. So maybe when that killer Python dev tool shows up (hehe, Dabo? already here eh?), the step-over may be easier and quicker than hoped. -Charlie _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
