How does eBay deal with it? I rarely use eBay myself, but occasional use
and talk with people who sell stuff there all suggest the system does
work. My feeling is that the success of such an undertaking is a matter
of design, implementation and administration - and since eBay has the
basic mechanics, their system comes to mind. I'd be surprised if the
folks at eBay haven't already thought of this.
