I have always thought it was a negative indicator of general computer  
skills, but some folks actually like it. I've asked. I don't get it,  
especially when they go to the trouble of putting a background  
picture on the desktop. Makes it look like the girlfriend has a  
terminal case of some terrible disease -- "iconitis" I guess.

As developers, I hope none of you *ever* do this. (See how I pulled  
this back to [NF]! <g>)
