How would you know?  I have no delusion that VFP is only way to develop
a database application.  I work in a Microsoft shop with Microsoft
tools.  So, I guess that is the default. Who has time to be proficient
in Dabo and .NET and maintain old VFP7 apps at the same time?  You have
make your choices that pays the bills. It is rare to get paid to climb
the learning curve.
