When you have full blown environments like java, C, pearl, ruby, python,
markup du jour, it is hard to stay focused.  When you add on that companies
have taken on full blown systems that need tweaking and I say the likes of
Oracle Financials, SAP, etc., then you become focused on that niche.

Why do you constantly define the COMPANY as the most important aspect of the
software or tool?  I want the TOOL that does the job the best or one that
gives me a completive advantage over my other competitors.  .NET gives me
both of those and that opens a lot of doors here in my community.  If that
weren't so I'd have found some other tool set.

Seems that your only impressed by the components around a person and fail to
see the human Ed.  It sounds as juvenile as evaluating a person by the
vehicle they drive or the shoes a woman is wearing.
