Yes, I've seen them and I was thinking about those when I replied. (I offered to my customers that I would get one of those chairs.) M$ does have a history of poking fun at itself, which in and of itself makes me hold some fleeting admiration for it, as most big companies would never do such a thing. Those films and others I've seen before feel different from this one. I tried to write satire once for the local newspaper. The editorial page editor was a friend of mine, and I asked him to make an honest assessment. I thought it was too broad, but his staff said that it was too believable! Maybe this is like that: too close to stuff that they have done in ernest to be good enough satire. But, we'll never know. Funny either way -- funnier if unintentional.
