thuggery, which you've just agreed is distinct from any specific "look".

        Again, I disagree. I asked him to explain his avowed hatred of the  
NBA. To quote: "Or is it that you don't like the "street" image? You  
know, that nervous white boy reaction to encountering black culture."

        That isn't "racist", or a card of any kind. I asked him to clarify if  
he was reacting to the look, or if he was basing that on actual events.
