Is this a .NET from some parallel universe? The .NET framework is free,
always has been. Visual Studio is not .NET. What exactly is 'not new'
about it? Did it exist in some other form prior to V1.0 ?

Gartner eh? Then it must be true! After all, they were right about the
fabric of society collapsing due to the Y2K bug weren't they!
