        OK, then, what surrogates; when; etc. I simply don't remember any  
reports of any such incidents. I do know several that go the other  
way, by enraged Clinton supporters, but they were spoken as  
individuals, and could in no way be attributed to the candidate herself.

        There is a large, vocal movement by disgruntled Clinton supporters to  
undermine the Obama candidacy. Something had to have been done in some  
sort of official capacity to result in such an unprecedented revolt.

        I'm not forgetting anything. They're forgetting that you only get a  
choice between two candidates in this supposed democracy. This time  
it's Obama or McCain, and these people are suggesting that McCain is  
more in step with their views than Obama. Reminds me of the religious  
right folks who are supporting the Democrat this year, hoping that in  
four years people will be so disgusted with the direction they've  
taken the country that the door will be wide open to a resurgent  
Huckabee or similar fundamentalist. Perhaps they are reasoning that by  
letting McCain bring the country further down the Bush path for the  
next 4 years, Clinton will have a better chance in the next election.
