No offense taken. I think none of us has the answer to why poor people are
the way they are. I feel blessed everyday to be in the position I'm in. If I
lost it all, though, I think I woul somehow figure out a way to make it. In
the meantime, I try to help others when I can. I think the three cars I gave
away to people who were struggling, this past year, would qualify. I think
giving comes back to you - tenfold.

I was working 2 jobs, and going to college, so I didn't have time to
work out. Luckily, I didn't have a car, and had to ride a bike,
everywhere. Come to think of it, most of the weight gain was in the
last year, when I got down to 1 job, driving a taxi. I'd be on call all
hours (outside of class), so whenever I had extra time - I slept!

Absolutely, you can do some juggling, and eat somewhat healthier, but
you need food education, and your options are limited if you are poorer.

I just get sick and tired of the "if they're poor, it's because they're
lazy and stupid, so it's their own fault." (I'm not accusing you of
saying that.) Sometimes it is, but having been there, I know a lot of
times it's not.
