It is about managing perceptions not realities. People want Outlook, not Thunderbird. THAT's the reality that you have to deal with. I used to use Eudora until a few months ago; try convincing people to use THAT! I like email programs that just email and no other rubbish. I like mobile phones that make and send phone messages and don't have calendars, movie cameras, GPS etc etc etc. But try and find one!
