Exactly how did George Bush create the financial crisis? Don't lean on lazy answers like "Well he was President before" ... "lack of regulation" ... or "he is a free marketer and the free market did it" ... these are too vague to have any meaning, and in the large can be refuted with many-leveled arguments that more accurately reflect the way our system works (or worked anyway). I believe he contributed to it, and I also believe Obama and his party contributed to it even more. I think do-gooder programs to get people into houses even if they couldn't afford them (which Bush also supported, though he DID try to regulate the GSE's at the heart of the meltdown, contrary to popular opinion) is the main culprit, and that was hardly a free market initiative. - Bob _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
