You have to use line separators or something. Often I miss your inline comments because they run together with the original text. Anyway---My wife lived under that regime, and what they live under now is a direct consequence of what was before. There was an illusion of prosperity for awhile (if you don't mind friends disappearing in the middle of the night, or living in fear of saying what you really think, or being told where to live, what to do, etc.). But it all came unraveled and it will take generations to restore any sense of the human spirit as God intended it to be experienced in that land. And now we're headed down that same path.
