You've not proved anything you old dolt. Bush's $800 billion (liberating 50 million people, and all he got was a shoe thrown at him) + $400 billion (give the old farts their drugs, and watch them vote Democrat anyway), and other enormous increases in entitlement spending on education, etc., over eight years is bad, I agree, and yes we have to pay that off, somehow. I'm accepting your premise now. But if that was bad, how is Obama's $1.4 trillion (in his first month!) + 2.5 trillion for paying people's mortgages (this year) + $410 billion (just passed the House) + additional $1.75 trillion (next year's 1- year deficit in a budget of $4 trillion --an enormous increase over this year's budget) somehow something we have to "wait and see" about? Is it not clear to any rational observer that it's pure unadulterated insanity doomed to destroy whatever is left of the good faith and credit of the US Treasury? I mean, all sense of proportion is lost. Just add them up, if your calculator can handle that many zeroes.. It boggles the mind. I can, and have, agreed that Bush's deficit spending under a Republican was out of control. It pales, by several orders of magnitude, in comparison to what Obama is doing with a nearly invincible Democrat majority, this year alone, fiscally speaking. And for what? If this is what Obama has done in just his first month, I can only imagine what the tally will be after 4 years.
