I started this thread because our Asus was not charging the battery and 
giving the BSOD.  Other than that it is a great laptop.  I took the 
battery out cleaned the contacts and now it is working fine.  We have 
had it for over two years and it is a great laptop.

I have had Toshiba, Canon, a small Sony Vio (great laptop!), two large 
Vio's that were good but ran hot, Asus, and HP Pavilion.  I think the 
small Vio was my favorite and I am very happy with my HP and Asus.
