I have used laptops as my primary input device for clsoe to 15 years. I have had knock offs as well as name brand. I foudn the knoc off of the Alien the best value I ever had. I had steel plates glued onto the shell to stop crack(s) in the lid. It was 64 bit athalon chip purchased in 2002. Only would hold a gig of ram, so I replaced it last fall with an HP.
