This has nothing to do with nationality or race, your insistence on going there is a canard. It is a defamation case, and in fact Savage has an excellent chance of winning it. Unlike in the US, the UK has rather strong anti-defamation laws, and many lawyers in England have been chomping at the bit to represent him. They specifically gave reasons, and they were bogus and quite easily disputed reasons. They claimed he was a threat to incite violence -- which he never has -- even as they let muslim clerics in with a history of doing so right inside England no less. They tolerate muslim anti-government demonstrations right in the heart of London daily, but are afraid of a talk show host?
