So basically it's not a good option. I've been tempted by cheap netbooks from Acer but the low res versions. Maybe there is no point anyway which was my first thoughts on the matter Thanks Christof Al

It really is no fun developing in 1024x600 when you can't even fit the properties window and the form designer completely onto the screen.
