Hey Mike - I see you posted this at like 3:30am in the morning. So, I suspect this issue has really hit you hard -and I hate to see you losing sleep over it. I just read it now (starting this evening - and finished reading it after watching some of the Awards tonite - and I am happy to see "UP" win some great awards and nomations - and ALSO for them to show a clip of the movie intro'd by a great actor).
If I were you (and I see you got a LOT of responses - and I only read your posting so far - and I am sure someone else said the same already) - but, I suggest -Stand Firm. Stick to your price - as you already knocked it down for this guy. And, just in the end - tell him - if he wants the SW to work in another OS - due to problems - pay the $2K - End-Of-Story! You can't keep letting him knock you down - and you already gave him a discount. And - also - do NOT offer 24Hr. support - as he may take advantage of you and start calling you at 10pm at night. Just offer you new standard support (Which should be during Business Hours - and do NOT over-extend youself for HIM - just to make him happy!). The more that a guy llike this does this kinda shit - it essentially devaluates us as developers! Anyway - my 2.5 centavos on the issue (upgraded for inflation)... -K- MB Software Solutions, LLC wrote: > I offer to support my app he's had since 2005 (and not paid anything yet > received upgrades for free in past 3 years).
