Because they are legally admitted to these countries to conduct business and they comply with all applicable laws to do just that. So why don't they? You would have to ask the foreigners as to why the find it necessary to break the law. Perhaps the wonderful countries in which they originate do not permit them to earn a sufficient amount of money to afford the legal method. > >>>> And we don't have social medicine? How untrue. That is, unless those illegals > are paying taxes in which case they *are* paying for said treatment. Illegals can and do receive free treatment and they are NOT deported following said treatment. There is no assessment of a person's legal right to be in the country in an emergency room. As far as taxes, the contributions to the tax base by illegals is a petance in comparison to the services that they consume. It would be impossible for them to avoid paying sales tax as they do have to purchase their food and the petrol that they put into their often unlicensed and uninsured automobiles from local establishments. ::michael _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
