I thought this was a single laptop with multiple virtual(s), sorry.

So you have an HP that can't play movies?  What app are you trying to
view them with?  Mine that came with vista did fine.  It had a video
player for it and it worked for me.

I agree monolithic.  It tried to be all things, like Word is.  Still
surprised that Jobs bashes Flash yet still keeps that crap out there.
