i  -  It is so easy to install thay you might try just that. After all 
you don't need to uninstall w$ to do it.
ii -  I was actually referring to no weird hardware. Most, if not all, 
actual computers will be compatible. After all, I've installed it on my 
msi netbook (which came with w$ XP by default) by just answering a few 
(really few) questions.
