When we're young, strong, and full of life, we all think we will live
forever. The same can be said about becoming seriously ill, yet Life
Insurance Companies and Health Insurance Companies know within a very
high degree of probability the exact answer to those two questions. far
to many people are inclined to gamble that it will never happen to them;
because, that's part of human nature. Those who irresponsibly lose that
gamble add to the burden of those of use who make the responsible
decision to carry insurance.

The logical solution to this dilemma is to have everyone insured and
everyone pay a share of the cost. Those that are in the universal pool,
who remain healthy throughout their lives, and need little in the way of
medical care are the luckiest ones. Others that get sick are not so
lucky, but they are lucky to the extend they get the medical care
needed; because, they are insured.

It looks like a win, win to me, as long as we don't turn everybody into
hypochondriacs, rushing out to take advantage of health insurance, just
for the sake of trying to get more back in benefits than was paid for in
insurance premiums.  LOL
