I have not had that itch, so.... But I should point out that you don't need to look for alternatives for sage, pegasus, etc., you need to look for FOSS software that will solve your needs. After all, I'm certain you had, or will have, to compromise in order to adopt Sage, Pegasus, etc, well maybe you should be equally willing to compromise adopting OpenERP. Failing this, you might consider the cost of modifying these FOSS solutions to tailor them to your needs, versus the cost of buying closed software. Evaluating of course the fact that you'll be adapting to closed software while getting a tailored solution in FOSS with the possibility of changing that tailoring whenever you want according to *your* needs and not the needs of Sun Systems or whoever. Failing all of these, you always have the choice of running those closed apps inside a nice open source virtual machine in your Linux box. ;c) _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
