hey i cant get any sound....i have a standard SB16
plug and play (ct1740) it works in RedHat and Mandrake also Windows...with MS,
the properties are as listed: irq:5 i/o:0240h-024Fh i/o:0300h-0301h
i/o:0388h-038Bh dma:01 dma:00
Now how do i set this up in Progeny to get
sound?
I've tried adding sb module w/ options io=0x240
irq=5 dma=1 placed in /etc/modutils/sb this did not work...i also tried
installing sndconfig(unstable) and it cant find the soundcard either....how do i
get this thing to work? |
