One way to discover where the attached file is, is to search for the file name in the HTML source, when the jwiki page is being displayed in a browser.
For example, in the "9 Queens Problem" page http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/Essays/9%20Queens%20Problem I have an attachment named q9.jpg. Before your msg I did not know exactly where that file has gone. (Nor did I care because the jwiki page uses q9.jpg correctly in the essay.) To discover where it is, I brought up the essay in FireFox, then right click on the mouse, then choose "View Page Source". I got a window displaying the HTML source. In that window, I searched for "q9.jpg". There were a few occurrences, and the one which is part of an <img ... src="... q9.jpg ..."> is the one I wanted. Lo and behold, the attachment is at: http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/Essays/9%20Queens%20Problem?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=q9.jpg So I think in general an attachment xyz at path foobar would put at http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/foobar?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=xyz I tested this on the Essays/APL Developers Photo with attachement APL360_group.jpg, and it worked. I suspect you can not depend on this information persisting from one release of the wiki software to another. ----- Original Message ----- From: Don Guinn <[email protected]> Date: Sunday, February 22, 2009 18:44 Subject: Re: [Jprogramming] Where are files that are attached to a WIKI page To: Programming forum <[email protected]> > I have read that page.
