Fascinating point, Bill. And easy enough for charname.ijs to incorporate. But I wouldn't recommend it. If you edit any Wiki page and try out the following:
Wikiword. WikiWord. pperiod. PPeriod. [[pperiod]]. [[PPeriod]]. ...you'll see that only 2 5 and 6 are recognised by MoinMoin as referring to (absent) pages. So the mechanism is a tricky one, and gives rise to confusing instances. For this and several other reasons IMO it's best to stick to fully lowercase alpha names for primitives-pages. Moinmoin doesn't stop you creating a fully-lowercase named page. Example: http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/Vocabulary/backtick (which is .../grave under my proposal) Ian On Tue, Feb 9, 2010 at 2:06 PM, bill lam <[email protected]> wrote: > mar, 09 Feb 2010, Ian Clark skribis: >> See: http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/Vocabulary/FormalPageNames for the >> script and list.
