I use a utility program (tabpro) from mountain software that imports the
Protel BOM into autocad. The program brings in the bill as dtext and also
draws a table with lines. The import functions are fully configurable to fit
your needs. This program is a great time saver.

Here is the web address.

Hope this helps,

Subject: [PEDA] BOM

I would like to create a Bill Of Materials from the schematic, and import
it directly into the assembly drawing.

Is there a way to do this, and could someone please help.

Thanks,
Bill
