Seems to not make a difference whether it's on when I open it or off. I
tried going back a service pack level to sp5 and no change ... still messed
up. hmmm... curious-er and curious-er...

Probably Tools/Preferences/OrCAD_Ports is checked. When you load an OrCAD
schematic, I think it is automatically set; and then it stays checked until
you uncheck it.
