i have no love lost for Uncle Bill, but i wouldn't bet against him
either

i would wager that 2-3 years from now MS is as dominant as ever and that
although Linux will show strong growth it will still be for gearheads
and backroom operations mostly

if Linux becomes a genuine threat he will just give away something that
can't be refused, they've done it before
