In V5 the options are a little scattered. I used to use V4 and I think the locations are similar. Tools-Options-Display and Tools-Options-Viewing Mail Turn off "Use Microsoft Viewer" and disable any of the HTML options you can find in these two locations. Also, under Tools-Options-Styled Text you can be really nice and turn on the option to "Send Plain Text Only" when replying to HTML formatted mail. To prevent mail virii getting control of your mailer you can also turn off any automation options in Tools-Options-Automation. Not that it helps against the latest mailer virii as they have their own SMTP stack. Actually, I don't want anyone else using Eudora. Go away, it doesn't work, it crashes all the time (not), user interface is hopeless :-) (If I can keep enough people from using it then virus writers will not target it.)
